Personality Sketch POSITIVE TRAITS ❚ Forgiving. » Forgiveness is something rare and only reserved to those Hijiri sees as ‘good people’. ❚ Hard Worker. » Ever since childhood Hijiri understood that if anything were to get done then she’d have to work hard. That trait continued on over the years and because of that Hijiri isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty to get what she sets out for. ❚ Fearless. » Hijiri isn't one to back down from a fight or be timid before entering one- even if the opponent(s) is/are clearly stronger then her. ❚ Protective. » Although she doesn’t have any human allies or friends as of now, Hijiri is a very protective person. She’ll do just about anything to help them out if she can at the time. ❚ Curious. » Like most of her other personality traits Hijiri got her curiosity from her childhood. Just like back then she’ll find herself searching through ever nook and cranny of her surrounding instinctively. ❚ Intelligent. » Despite Hijiri giving small worded answers at times she’s actually a rather intelligent woman. NEGATIVE TRAITS ❚ Distrustful towards Benders. » Due to events in her past Hijiri has lost respect for most Benders and as the respect faded away so did the trust. It’ll take a lot of time and perseverance for a Bender to earn Hijiri’s trust. ❚ Fits of Blind Rage. » When pushed into being extremely angry Hijiri won’t think of her actions but she’ll just fall into a dull state where she’ll mindlessly attack- even if it means leaving herself open to injury. ❚ Rebellious. » After giving up Bending Hijiri grew to hate orders and being told what to do by anyone. Due to this she’ll gladly do the opposite of what she’s told with out any regard of the consciences of her actions. ❚ Delusional. » After finding out about her parents death in the war Hijiri became dazed as a child and at times would start to yell and try to attack her aunt and uncle because she believed they were fire nation soldiers trying to kill her. Though those fits of delusion subsided over the years they weren’t actually treated so the chance of Hijiri having them are still there. ❚ Short Attention Span. » Hijiri has had a problem with keeping focused on a person or conversation that seems to have no clear or significant end to it. To her it’s a waste of time that could be spent on doing something productive. ❚ Slight Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. » Hijiri loves things to be in order and stay that way. When things aren’t in it’s proper order or if she comes into a circumstance where everything around her is hepatic Hijiri will begin to bite her nails and lip in hope of containing the need to fix everything. (-) Benders. (-) Death of someone close OTHER FACTS ❚ Hijiri was born in the Earth Kingdom and stayed inside it’s walls for most of her life. Her father and mother were skilled Earth Benders- not the greatest but the two could easily hold up their own against most other Benders. Needless to say, Hijiri wanted to follow in her parents foot steps but as the war continued on it’s destructive rampage the little girls parents were soon drafted out to defend the other nations and their own. At that time Hijiri was around 6 years old and while her parents were gone she stayed in the company of her aunt and uncle who continued to teach their granddaughter the basics of Earth Bending. Years passed by and Hijiri was now 11 years old- she was a promising Bender by most standards but during a seemingly normal day Hijiri’s family received tragic news. ❚ Hijiri’s parents had lost their lives in the war, just like many other adults and teenagers. Heartbroken, enraged, and confused Hijiri cut herself off from Bending and talking all together. For years Hijiri stumbled around the Earth kingdom in a daze, doing whatever she really wanted with no regard of the consequences that came from them. Though her grandparents desperately tried to snap Hijiri out of the emotionless fit the only ending result the two got was the little girls delusional thought of them being Fire Nation Soldiers and then getting attacked. By the time Hijiri was 15 her fits and delusion subsided dramatically and she was back to her normal self, sort of. Hijiri had given up Bending for good and refused to practice or even be apart of anything that had to do with Earth Bending. Instead of Bending Hijiri set out in physical training; practicing knives throwing and hand-to-hand comeback with the other neighboring kids. From then on Hijiri set out of the Earth Kingdom to travel around in hopes of getting stronger. |
Special Abilities (Benders)
BENDING ELEMENT : Earth.
SCOPE OF BENDING : Please keep in mind that Hijiri hasn’t used any Earth Bending techniques in a long time. It’s not impossible for her start using them again but if she did they’d be weak and possibly give out in the middle of using them.
» Earth & Stone Levitation (the art of levitating stones into the air and tossing them, Hijiri could only pick up medium sized rocks that didn’t go much over her own weight.)
» Rock Shield (Hijiri learned how to pull slabs of rock from the earth high enough to cover her whole body and fling it the wall towards her opponent. Although she had good control over her Earth Bending Hijiri could only hold off just a few average level attacks before the wall got so weak it crumbled away. Even when Hijiri would fling her Rock Shield towards her attacker it’s speed wasn’t all that great and could easily be dodged to those who paid attention during combat.)
» Earth Smash (the ability to smash through earth made objects. Though Hijiri’s other techniques weren’t all that good, out of all of them she specialized in this. Hijiri spent most of her time perfecting her Earth Smash technique. Though it took some time she finally was able to perfect a way of smashing through large boulders twice her size and the same amount thick.)

» Hooked-End Machete Hijiri’s main weapon that when not in use is placed in a protective case that’s attached to her belt.
» Small Knives and Axes Mostly being used as projectiles Hijiri has a cluster of various Knives and Axes at her disposal.
