Some say its because she was spirited away while others say she's plain like that. Still more say that they don't want to find out. ❚ 'FRIENDLY' - Always has a smile on her face, this girl tends to be friendly and sorta clingy to those she takes an interest in (even and/or especially very 'interesting' prey) ❚ DEDICATED... sort of - As long as she's 'interested', she will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. ❚ CHEERFUL - in almost every situation, this girl will have a childish smile on her face like a little girl playfully taking apart a butterfly's wings. ❚ ADVENTUROUS - she is willing to try out anything that 'interests' her. NEGATIVE TRAITS ❚ Sporadically INSANE - Prone to bouts of insanity, she would for example be hugging a cat in one moment then skinning it alive in the next. (-) 'Boring' things (-) Wood cutters (-) annoying Mercenary people (-) Broccoli (-) Underwear HISTORY ❚ A former denizen of a fringe forest village in the Fire Nation (not Earth Kingdom) Aka-chan was once an ordinary girl who lived life happily and spoiled well loved by the people around her. It was a peaceful idyllic life that lasted until Aka-chan's 12th birthday. While gathering flowers in a nearby forest for her sick Grandma, her only relative ever since her mother and father died in a forest fire 1 year ago, she was spirited away by the giant wolf spirit. A decade passed before she came back, for some reason still looking very much the same as when she was taken. By then however her village was gone, destroyed by raiders, although she herself doesn't know this. ❚ It was in the ruins of the village that Aka-chan was 'rescued' by a person who claimed to be a wood cutter. Befriending the lost confused girl, he took her under his care as his 'personal friend' for a couple of weeks. Soon enough, the 'games' got boring and when a mercenary band went by, Mr. Woodcutter 'let her go' with their 'new friends' who can 'play' more 'games' with her. Sadly, Mr. Woodcutter died from 'accidentally' cooking himself in an oven 3 years later. ❚ As the 'special friend' to the whole mercenary company, there were a lot of things she was 'happy' about, notably the 'games' were much more interesting, ranging from 'brownie' eating to pole hanging (with sharp pointy toys below). 'Sadly' all the fun in the world could not prevent the 'tragedy' that occurred during the 1 year anniversary of their friendship where the forest they were staying in somehow caught fire leading to the inevitable demise of all of Aka-chan's poor drunk 'friends' after the long and arduous night of 'hard play'. ❚ A week after Aka-chan was picked up by Fire Nation soldiers. History repeats itself. And now here she is 7 years later, an adorable loli with a clearly unbelievable history of fun and frolic and somehow a ranked officer in the Avatar army after certain unfortunate accidents led her to that position. OTHER FACTS ❚ She apparently started to 'learn' or rather adapt fire bending from Mr. Woodcutter who often used special hot metal 'tools' during playtime. This was complimented by 8 years worth of learning while watching the mercenaries and various soldiers during the short rest periods between 'play' or when they practiced while she helped. ❚ While it isn't said in the History, she is still actually trying to find the Giant Spirit Wolf whom she calls Mr. Wolf who is the only being that she truly had fun with. Note that the word Fun in this statement is not meant to be sarcastic like the others. And since the Avatar seems to be one of the few who'd be able to go into the Spirit World and thus have a chance of finding Mr Wolf... It's just a matter of stalking and timing~

Special Abilities (Benders)

BENDING ELEMENT : Fire

SCOPE OF BENDING :

• Pyrokinesis - ability to produce flames out of thin air. Usually manifests if she's having a lot of fun (involves challenging target/s) or is pissed. Otherwise, she seems quite unaware that she can use it and when she is, she assumes that its quite natural. No one has had the heart or any other body parts to speak of to tell her this.
  
• Metallic Heating - Anything metallic that she holds will be automatically be heated. Never enough to melt but usually enough to scar. Again she seems quite unaware that she is able to do this.
  
• Other Firebending - Having no formal training, she is unable to perform it adequately on her own except for the aforementioned abilities (listed above) and her special projectile weapon (listed below). Not that she needs it.

WEAPONS :

• Twin Cleavers. Conducts heat easily.
  
• Shotgun Mr. Stick - A cylindrical weapon that can shoot/spray pointy metal shards. Shooting is powered by her Pyrokinesis. Ammo is severely limited so it is rarely used outside a job and even then, only if it ensures/assures maximum carnage fun. i.e. Crowd Control (5 or more) or Point-blank primary target... Note: its not like she could use it at any other time. It tends to get "stuck up" when she isn't in the mood or in other words, her bending isn't working. Came from an unfortunate female blacksmith who died from the molten fire of her smithy and definitely not spontaneously combusting after not letting Aka-chan borrow the new toy.
