Personality Sketch POSITIVE TRAITS ❚ Gumption - He knows when or when not to act and will put courage behind it. But he also has the common sense to be level-headed and wary. ❚ Sumptuous - He is grand in appearance, and is sure to keep his appearance well groomed. His movements are alaways extravagent and his reactions always entailing great suspense. ❚ Protective - If you are on his side, he will weild a sword for you or call up his words to defend you. ❚ Dependable - If he trust you, then count on him to be there. If it is a fight, need someone to defend you, or just some rather harsh words to get your mind in the right line of thinking, he'll be sure to help. ❚ Serious - He is always serious, and very rarely does he let his guard down for a spot of fun or happiness. It is the way he has taught himself to keep to his own- especially after the Avatar saught after the Air Temples. ❚ Kind - Even if it may not seem like it, behind his serious, rather sour face and harsh words, he is kind. Way way deep down, burried in all the facade, it is still there. And it doesn't very often show either. NEGATIVE TRAITS ❚ Harsh - His words and actions are much like the bite of a snake with the rush of venom. Sometimes he may act like he doesn't even care if one dies. But usually there is some meaning behind these actions. Even if it is really, really hard to see it. ❚ Demanding - He asks alot of people on a daily basis. And will get equal trade of his time or money. He demands a lot from himself as well. ❚ Strict - He will enforce the rules- as long as they are not unreasonable. Punishment is also enforced if one does not follow the rules. ❚ Grouchy - Most of the time, he is in a fowl mood. His eyes will be icy and his lips holding an emotionless cold that seems like a frown. If you piss him off, he won't stop short to put you in your place. ❚ Secretive - He isn't fond of sharing, and you will never get much out of him other than his name and his work. He will turn a cold shoulder if you try to pester at him about it. It rubbed off on him somewhat. But Takao is still kind, although it's hard to see. ❚ His father died when Takao was 14. His father went out searching for the Avatar and never returned. When he next turned up, his corpse was but bones and rags. A proper barriel was never set out, the corpse left where it had been laid- In Heibai's Forest. ❚ After the death of his father, Takao's shell became denser and his grouchy attitude was on the high rise. He was tought by multiple teachers at the temple at the time, and studdied under their watchful eyes. As they always had suspicion Takao's heart was not pure and he would one day betray them. For he did not share in their happy spoiled games or their spiritual insight. ❚ After having been taught a utility of air bending, he started teaching himself in his own way. Which lacked the fun and games that most portrayed. And he eventually began to teach others. But his way of teaching was frowned upon. Takao has a natural like for learning skills, and likes to teach others those skills. But obviously he did not do this in a way that the other's approved. ❚ After only a year or two of teaching, he found himself unable to stay any longer. He would not follow the certain ways of the air nomads, even if he held particular beliefs that had been passed down unto him since he was a child. But his views and how he acted was much too different for their tastes. And they were too different for him. So, he said a short goodbye and left the tall top of the temple. And not too soon, for news of the Avatar gathering their support rung true.
