The crowds were cheering, screaming their hearts and throats out for their favorite fighters. Screaming and shouting and throwing pebbles into the ring as they cheered. Earth Rumbles were the underground fights of Earth Benders, mostly, but one would not see these as underground anymore, everyone knew about them and even the fancy people got into it for gambling. Tonight was a special night for gambling, too! A new comer came out of no where, an underdog with no real style of Earthbending, and who won every match thrown at her.

Hyun Ok was standing in the middle of the ring her foot on top of the back of a knocked out earth bender who had their mouth full of dirt from where Hyun Ok had pushed a pillar up into their face as they looked down. A cold smile was on her face and an odd fire behind her indigo eyes. "mmm nice" she whispered her hair a bit spiked out, a new style she was trying along with the baggy, black hip hugging pants, and black wrappings that wrapped tightly around her chest forming a type of tube-top, her bare stomach and the rest of her skin as pale as anyone in the Fire Nation. But these mindless drones would not know that.

She moved her bare foot from the back of the man and slammed it down onto the floor causing a pillar to push up sending the unconscious man flying into the stands. "WINNER, STONE HEART!" the ring master called out holding her hand up, her palms wrapped in black bandages. "NOW LET'S TRY AND MAKE THIS NIGHT MORE INTERESTING! I CAN BET NOT A SINGLE PERSON SAW THAT THIS WOMAN WOULD BE TONIGHT'S CHAMPION! A NO NAME NO BODY!" Hyun Ok made a bit of a face, "NOW WHO OUT THERE THINKS THEY ARE MAN ENOUGH TO EARTH BEND AGAINST THIS WOMAN FOR 400 GOLD PIECES?! OR IS THIS NO BODY GOING TO TAKE IT ALL HOME WITH HER TONIGHT?!" The ring master held up the sack of gold waving it around. A few men made rude comments but no one was standing forward.. pathetic. Hyun Ok had her arms crossed over her chest her eyes narrowed with all the dark makeup around her eyes and seemed like she was glaring at everyone.

[CHI YON]

"Earth Battle peh it is a waist men listening to there muscles nothing can be learned from this Chi Yon. you are not to watch this stuff." It was the voice of reason that Chi Yon had often listened to his father... and he had listened he did not watch the competitions... though he doubted his father would have liked his answer of him participating. But that was a long time ago, back when he was just a student at the academy in the near by town.

Now Chi Yon was a member of the Dai Li hell more then a member he was the Dai Li. Four hundred gold pieces? Chi Yon sat back in his chair and stroked his chin, then stood up and declared himself.“I will take that bet!”

The crowed didn’t hear him over the roars his voice was simply to quite. he stood back and made a thrust with his arms a Pillar at his feet launched him into the ring. Chi Yon landed with all the grace of a Dai Li. Proudly announcing his presence. ChI Yon was not in his Dai Li uniform or any uniform for that matter. He had come here disguised. He liked to watch these fights and sometimes he would do a background cheack on some of the more impressive earth benders here, if they truly were good and clean… it was a nice place to recruit for the Dai Li. But she… she had beaten the man he had been following, the man he had placed a bet on. she was good… and now he wanted to know who she was…. and win back some of the money he had just lost. “I will take the bet. Call me the falling rock”

Chi Yon spoke his old call name with a slight nostalgia towards it. He smiled for what followed. CAN IT BE? THE FALLING ROCK OUR OLD HOME TOWN PRODAGIE ALL GROWN UP AND READY TO FIGHT AGAIN? ITS BEEN YEARS SINCE WE HAVE SEEN HIM IN THE FIELD AND NOW OUR CHAMPION HAS RETURNED LETS HOPE HE ISN’T RUSTY! AND LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!”

Hyun Ok scratched her ear glancing over at the guy. His entrance into the ring was an impressive one. He was a good earth bender, she could tell that about him by his mere presence. She was a lucky newbie and he was probably some type of master. And from the Ring Master's statement it was confirmed. A smile grew on her doll pale face, "An old champion?" she questioned mostly to herself then smiled more at him a glint in her eyes as she bowed a bit, "I hope i can keep up with you" she said coolly before standing up straight.

She glanced around, the ring was wide enough to do serious earth bending, but in her other matches she barely moved ten feet in any direction. The only wound she had from these matches was a light cut on her back that barely was bleeding... but with this guy she knew she had to be careful and use everything given to her, even at the risk of injury. It was so much different then having Guards fight for you, doing it yourself was something new and exciting and until today she had not done in years!

The woman moved her body in a basic fire bending stance, except her hands were in fist instead of flat palms forward. She stopped to think, she was unsure of how to do this, with the other guys they attacked first, but this time she wanted the first move... With a sudden shift of her weight she lurched forward punching at the air with her right hand causing a pillar of stone to lurch out of the ground at an angle toward the center of this 'Fallen Rock'. As her body finished lurching forward she pulled her left foot forward causing a rush of the ground to push forward like a rug to try and shake the man's balance after her pillar attack.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon’s stance dropped almost immediately as he thrust his foot forward sending forth a pillar of his own smashing into the one she had sent. What he hadn’t expected was the second attack. That ran by his foot. His weight shifted as the dirt pushed his foot and for a brief moment he was thrown off balance.

Chi Yon’s Years were really the only thing saving him at this point as he almost fell back, it was a novice mistake in these fights he was so used to the field he had forgotten his basics. As he fell back he his arms thrust forward and with it a wall spanned forth from the ground.

Chi Yon knew the wall wouldn’t be protection for long. but he quickly put his hands to the ground the rocks seemingly forming around them creating his gloves. By now she would have an ample opportunity to break threw his wall. But at least he felt better now that he had his favored weapon. These fights and the field of action were different… but there was always a use for one to the other. however one thing was for sure, Chi Yon was already enjoying this battle.

Hyun Ok could not help but actually grin a bit as she saw the man lose balance. It was a rush of joy that had not hit her in years. This guy was obviously more advanced in earth bending, but that she knocked him off balance was something exciting to her and gave her new confidence. She leaned forward quickly slamming her fist into the ground causing a pillar to strike forward, only this time the wall he had created stopped it cold.

The woman's eyes narrowed but she was still smiling as she unfisted her hand and grabbed at the ground, her fingers digging in with ease, as she pulled a large chunk of rock out, and pulling it so it would seemingly float before her. She then swiftly returned to her basic stand before slamming an open palm against the stone, not only shattering it but sending the multitude of stone shards flying into the wall shattering through it in a matter of seconds.

Hyun Ok looked through the dust she had created and saw a shadow, she then slammed her heel into the ground sending a rather wider pillar up from under where she thought she saw the man. She never saw whatever he was doing behind that wall. She half joked to herself that he was praying and that made her grin more.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon smiled as the dust cleared from his wall and he saw the large pillar. He kicked from the ground sending himself upwards with a pillar from the ground. he landed on top of the wider plat form his hand helped him keep steady earth magnetism was a useful talent.

Chi Yon kicked the ground and a rock seemingly floated from the pillar he fired it forward, and then kicked another and another. Sending chunks of the pillar forward to attack. Hoping to knock her back. He smiled this stone hart was good, he wasn’t holding back it had been a while since he had that thrill.

Chi Yon held the ground for his life standing on an earth pillar was rarely a good idea but hay in this situation had to give the crowed what they wanted, and what they wanted was amazing feats of earth bending. He figured it was a good way to make the crowed go wild, and he was right this battle was making the people go ecstatic.

Hyun Ok looked up through the dust as it settled seeing the figure of Falling Rock standing on top of the pillar. Just as she was about to simply pull the pillar down she noted the projectiles being hurled at her from above. She narrowed her eyes as she suddenly crouched down slamming both her fist against the ground creating a type of dome around her person. She grimaced every time a rock struck the dome taking chunks of it as it ripped into the protection she created.
She was thinking, quickly, and it was causing a bit of sweat to appear on her brow as she squatted there in the darkness of the dome. Her body was starting to become in pain from the awkward crouch she had herself in sort of a frog kind of squat. The moment she heard the shower of rocks stop she stood up sharply causing the remainder of the rock dome to shatter and spread outward like shrapnel.

She got into her stance and smirked up at the guy, “If you think throwing pebbles at me will knock me down, then you’re in for a surprise!” she smiled before pulling her arms to her chest, the motion causing whatever was left of his pillar to be pulled down. She swiftly moved her arms to her side before pulling them upward bending at the elbow in an appearance like hold up dumbbells. This motion caused two pillars on both sides of the man to appear at an angle gunning to pin him between them.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon felt the pillar at his feet give out and then saw the two other pillars coming at his side. not having a choice he threw one of his gloves against the left pillar. Exploding it but unfortunately taking the pillar to his right as a full on hit it would bruise badly probably even hurt in the now but it didn’t feel like anything was broken.

Chi Yon hit the ground with a heavy thud. He coughed he was close to the edge he had to move or else. He brought his leg up briefly slamming it down he sent a wave of rock pillars. Jetting out of the ground from a fissure and all of it heading strait for stone hart. She was good but he wanted to test her bring her down to his element.

Chi Yon smiled and then kicked him into a standing position and then winced as he felt his right side hurt. He didn’t want to remain on his back for too long not here with this opponent. he felt like she wasn’t just trying to win the match, and it was true that several of her opponents had lost not by ring out as was tradition but by K.O.“I think this has been an interesting exchange tell me what do you do for a living?”

[HYUN OK]

Hyun Ok grinned as the man was hit. It pleased her to see him hurt, but she was impressed by whatever he did to blow up the pillar. She had seen his hands encased in stone and was curious about the style. She took a mental note to ask him about that move, it could actually be useful to her at work! She was here to learn and she had already learned a few new things including that double pillar thing she just did.

She blinked suddenly pulled back from her mind as the ground below her shook, She grunted and started stepping backwards from the pillars as the continued to rush her, she then growled and took a stomp forward slamming both fist against the ground sending a smaller fissure to meet his fissure. The fissure's collided and canceled each other out causing not only the ring to shake by the whole area too.

Hyun Ok took a deep breath and smirked at Falling Rock, "I work where I can't bend... " she stepped forward her arms in her usual stance style as fist her knuckled bruised and the skin a bit red.. it was obvious she had not earth bend on a regular bases or her skin would have been tougher. "But I'm here to learn, and get some infamy!" she laughed before stopping and fell to one knee the moment her knee made contact a stone flew up from the ground and she punched it forward at Falling Rock.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon shook with the stadium his balance held out but he felt another shake of pain from his side. taking that injury had not been smart. He held to though even this close to the edge he was not out yet. as she chucked her rock he smiled.

Chi Yon held up his right gloved hand his stance was perfect his mind was on cue. The rock hit his gloved hand and he felt himself be pushed slightly, but he stopped the rock. He smiled lightly good to know he hadn’t forgotten how to play catch, at least that much was true. He stepped forward and hurdled the rock back at her.

Then with a second step he spun and unleashed his last glove towards her the hand jetted outward in an open palm thrust. With any luck one of the two items would hit her. he was starting to feel woozy from the hit to his side and began to think that it was best if he knocked her out now… or at least he hoped he could do that.“I have a job offer I would like to discus after this is over… if your credentials clear of course.”

[HYUN OK]

Hyun Ok watched her stone fly forgetting about her usual style of two moves at a time. It was what always messed her opponents up prier to this guy. Her eyes widen as he threw the rock back at her. She let out a slight yell as she swung her other arm around punching the stone as it was about to strike her. The rock shattered and the pieces flew off to the side not at the guy. She smirked blinking through the smoke starting to stand only to feel a sharp pain against her chest and feel her body get thrown backwards. The force flipping her backwards and she fell hard on her face.

"..tch" she winced and pushed herself up spitting out some blood and rubbing her bleeding nose with the back of her right wrist. She took in heavy breaths her chest hurting badly, but she did not feel like her sternum was broken or anything. She smiled through the pain at him, "yeah I doubt you'll want to hire me, even if i did check out" she chuckled spitting out some more blood her nose swelling slightly. "But i would not mind chatting with you after this" she suddenly ran forward, and at six feet she slammed on her knees and let the momentum push her forward and with her most of the floor flew up and charged at Falling Rock like a tidal wave of stone.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon saw the tidal wave and in a moment he hesitated. It was immense and for a moment he was shaken. The moment caused the wave to hit him and he felt himself slide along with the wave. That was until he stopped himself. Closer now to the edge half his foot went off it. but the wave was stopped and that’s when he started to take a step forward. Pushing the wave back.

The wave of earth was large and strong its force was difficult to advert but sure enough just as any rock did. It gave and began its return trip. It went forward pushing back the wave. As Chi Yon stepped back into the arena.“Return to sender!”

Chi Yon used to be better at this banter stuff, he also used to be young, and also used to not have a problem breathing. He coughed slightly dizzy for a moment he needed to finish this he stepped down onto the ground a pillar raised up in front of him drawing a breath he punched the pillar and then again and again. at first it seemed his blows made no difference and then as if the wave wasn’t the worst of his problems the compressed rock bullets began to fly being broken off from his pillar with force they would smash anything in there way… again that was the hope.

[HYUN OK]

Hyun Ok's eyes widen as she watched her tidal wave of earth being returned to her, but she did not get off her knees, instead she moved so one knee, her right, was still on the ground, while the other leg was bent, meaning she was now in a kneeling position. She then thrust her hands out heels of the hands connected her palms open. The moment the tidal wave made it to her, her body shook but when a stone hit her palms the wave exploded sending debris everywhere it could some people in the stands were almost crushed but they moved in time. But that bit of mayhem made the crowd roar. But now a cloud was created causing many of the fans to 'boo' at the situation.

The woman smirked ready to attack again when a sharp pain hit her in the shoulder. she was pushed back slightly falling on her ass. She jumped up only to be hit again in the stomach. She glared through the smoke cloud she had created from her deflection of her redirected attack. She threw her hands up smacking a rock as it was about to hit her face, but the force it held slid her back. Hyun Ok glared through the smoke panting blinking a lot as she knocked back another rock only to be hit again in the other shoulder. Every time she blocked or was hit she was forced back a step.

It was when she felt her heel not connect with Earth did her eyes widen as she swiftly swung her hands down toward the floor having the dust cloud disappear. She moved her head to the side just in time to miss a rock to the face. She swore a bit as she tried to make a wall in front of her, by the moment she got it up, one of Falling Rocks bullets hit it, shattering it. "ah!" she yelped as the debris of her own wall hit her, causing her to stumble off the ring.

With a loud thud she hit the ground panting heavy her nose swollen, shoulders both bruised and her stomach and chest red with some welts. She growled and hit the ground with her fist, angry that she did not simply have a floor created under herself to keep her up on the ring. She was careless and she had lost. "WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION! FALLING ROCK!!!!" the ring master shouted jumping into the ring handing the sack of gold to the man.

[CHI YON]

Chi Yon took the bag of gold and the belt. The belt felt heavier then it did in his youth. And he stepped off the arena with the two items. He now defenitly needed to talk with this stone hart. She had impressed him throughout the battle and he defiantly belived she deserved at least an audience.

Chi Yon stepped down away from the ring. He walked with an authority to where he had watched Stone Hart fall. He smiled lightly as he walked the belt at his waist conflicted with his clothes and he couldn’t imagine actually warring this to work it would raise one to many questions about what he did with his free time.

“Miss Stone Hart I think we should have a talk… I am Chi Yon of the Ba Sing Se Dai Li and I would like to talk to about your considerable skill level.” Chi Yon bowed to the woman showing his full respect for her. a small feeling nagged at the back of his head that only said he had no idea what he was getting into. But he shook that feeling aside for now he hopping to fined a nice semi quite place the two could talk.

Hyun Ok sighed standing up muttering swears to herself as she dusted herself off. She grumbled darkly suddenly hating the feeling of dirt on her feet and the pain she felt when she breathed. The woman just wanted to sit somewhere now, hell putting on shoes at least would be nice! She was about to leave forgetting about talking with that man, until he walked over to her with all that gold at his waist. “Oh yeah talking” she smiled at him standing straight, all the pain she felt not showing on her face or in how she stood even forcing herself to breath normally.

Her smile faltered for a moment as Chi Yon introduced who he really was. It was something that never even crossed her mind. She knew he was good, and even a master, but that he was of the Dai Li blew her mind. Hell the fact that she lasted as long as she did against someone of that rank both surprised her and made her feel a bit gitty. “I am flattered that you think my skills are of a consideration, especially by someone of your standing, Chi Yon” she almost did the fire nation bow, but instead simply covered a fist with her other hand and bowed. She was keeping herself controlled, if anyone here knew she was of the Fire Nation as deeply into as she was… she would be captured or killed outright.

“Chi Yon, I would like to talk more to you… Once we are out of this place” she smiled and started walking toward an entrance stopping to stomp the ground a hole appeared and she reached in grabbing a sack with her normal outfit, including shoes! She smiled at him and threw up a few walls around herself, quickly changing into her rather unique catsuit and poncho. “Okay” she removed the walls, “Sorry about that” she smoothed out her poncho and walking out of the underground arena. “So um, what’s a good place to get a drink of tea?” she asked her arms crossed over her chest covered by the poncho.
