Is it possible to turn off the crediting of post counts in non-roleplaying sections such as the OOC boards? Because the post count is a big help to members; it serves as a measure for in-character experience, which is commensurate to the bender's ability.
My point is, it would be better to have a quantitative proof that a character is really improving, and that is by looking at the number of in-character posts.
Thank you~ :3

If it is I wouldn't really know how to do so, I myself am new to Proboards ^^; I'll look it up tho.

You just have to modify the board on the admin panel and then, 'disable the post counts' for certain boards.

Er... if you mean to have a Post Count in this place then I suppose we already have this Post Count set in this place. If you're talking about otherwise, please clarify it and I'll see what I can do, mmkay?

What I'm saying is, since this is an RP board, only RP posts should be credited. Thus, only those under the four nations category, the character journal and messenger system must be the boards that have enabled post counts.
As such, you won't have to go through a person's IC posts to tell if he or she is getting experience as the number of posts will determine it. Treat it like one's experience points in MMORPG's. More posts mean stronger character.

Already did it so don't worry ^^; Btw with the post thing it also depends on how you rp, the amount of posts can be different but the person who can rp it better still has the advantage. *Sorry I suck at describing things.*
