Once Upon a Time, in the country of La Terre.
There ruled a kind king, who held grand parties,
loved his people, and made everyone joyful.
But our tale is sad, the king passed leaving no heir,
He never married, and leaving no heir the throne sat
Empty. Soon some of the nobles turned on eachother, all
wanting the throne for themselves and turned bitter. So
our tale takes us to you reader, will you listen to the sad song.
La Terre a green and rich country sits with a empty throne, no heir and no king. Nobles in the small country have turned bitter and now treat servants and people with little dignity, some even taking slaves. The servants and royal guards at the palace wait for a day when a new king will come forth, bringing the bitterness and darkness that has filled many hearts to a end.
Each year a festival is held, a tournament and battle to pick a new ruler but year after year it fails. The old kings advisor also patiently waits for a new king, but in secret plots to take the throne for himself. But news has reached the ears of the king of Arcland, who has two sons. He hopes to put one of them on the throne, that way the two kingdoms can be connected with eachother.
Around the country there are many different people, depends on which life you want to lead. You could be a swashbuckling pirate, or a dancing gypsy or perhaps you prefer the darker creatures such as werewolves, lycans and vampires. Then again you could be a petty thief, a warrior or simple noble the choice is yours.
With news reaching the advisors ears, he plans to make a stop to the king of Arcland from putting one of his brats on the throne for it could ruin his plans. So where do you stand in this world of mystery, romance, secrets, plots........and murder. The stage has been set, the curtain is drawn. ON WITH THE SHOW, and let your adventure begin.
